Delivering performance and value for money to MJ Abbott
MJ Abbott has added the first BRON Offsetting Add-On Vibratory Utility Plow to be sold into the UK to its fleet of dozers thanks to Mastenbroek's engineering expertise.
Mastenbroek and MJ Abbott's relationship stretches back several years, so when Adrian Riggs, Contracts Director needed to source a large vibratory plow for installing cross-country water mains and electric power cables, he approached the Boston-based trencher manufacturers.
Mastenbroek's engineers proposed purchasing a BRON V-100 add-on vibratory utility plow, which was matched to a CAT D6T dozer within the MJ Abbott machine fleet, as this offered the best combination of value for money and performance.
MJ Abbotts' fleet does include smaller vibratory plows, but the BRON Offsetting Add-On Vibratory Utility Plow is more robust, offering a vibratory plow shank for tougher ground, full offsetting, a 75mm internal width cable chute for instals at up to 1.5m deep, an integral hopper for simultaneously installing sand or gravel backfill and a feed tube for installing a warning tape above the pipe or cable.
