Mastenbroek Subsea machinery - overview

Mastenbroek Subsea Machines are custom-built for off-shore construction companies for burying fibre optic cables, oil and gas lines or power cables along the seabed.

Mastenbroek has designed and manufactured subsea trenchers for shallow waters, installing cables and flexible pipelines up to 5.5 m burial depth in one operation. The subsea trenchers are hydraulically or electrically driven from a power pack situated on board a support vessel or landing craft.

Mastenbroek can offer subsea machines as backhoe attached trenchers, hydraulically self propelled trenchers up to 30 m, and electric self propelled trenchers for operating depths of over 30 m .

We have also designed and built an excavator mounted trenching head. This can be used in shallow water up excavator reach limits.
