A well-attended LDCA land drainage course was held at the Mastenbroek factory at the beginning of February. Organised not only for LDCA members but also for those with an interest in land drainage such as ground staff, greenkeepers and local authorities.
The day focused on an introduction to land drainage systems and installation, materials, machinery, and the use of the latest Trimble GPS in site survey and design equipment, with presentations, demonstrations and practical design exercises it offered an insight into the latest developments in agricultural and sports turf drainage.
The LDCA has been providing these courses for several years, they are held regularly throughout the year. If this may be of interest to you please visit www.ldca.org for further information.
