Mastenbroek Dewatering machines overview
| With horizontal dewatering becoming increasingly popular prior to installation of pipes in areas with a high ground water table, Mastenbroek has developed a range of deep trenchers specifically for dewatering applications, which are able to dig to depths of between 2m and 10m, with or without backfill material. For additional versatility, these machines can also be used for deep drainage and for membrane installation around waste disposal sites. |
|
| The trenchers are fully hydrostatic giving infinitely variable control, manoeuvrability and efficient power transmissions. An additional feature of the dewatering machine is an automatic positioning system that allows the digging boom to remain at a pre-determined angle in all conditions. When used in conjunction with a laser system, flexible pipes, can be installed at any depth to a precise grade. | |

The entire trenching unit is slewable, which not only allows curved trenching, but also enables the machine to reach dewatering pumps outside the working strip.

These
well balanced machines are equipped with large, oscillating and
extendable tracks (extendable tracks optional on some machines) for
excellent stability even when working in poor ground conditions |
